Mallard Ridge Landfill is the Delavan spot where residents and commercial haulers bring material to be buried. Located on State Road 11, it’s the kind of working landfill with heavy equipment, trucks, and long dirt cells.
Pull up to an entrance booth and a scale; loads are charged by weight so expect to be weighed. Lanes are set up for trucks and pickups, and trailers need room to swing, so give extra space when lining up. The site looks like mounded soil and gravel roads with loaders moving material around. Commercial loads are accepted and tipping fees are weight-based, so plan for a brief stop to get sorted and another to leave after you’re weighed out.
