Drive up to a small entrance area and you'll come across a scale - landfills like this typically charge tipping fees by weight, so expect to be weighed. After the first weigh-in, vehicles are routed to the active dumping area where you'll tip and then head back over the scale to settle the fee. The site feels industrial: big dirt cells, compactors and trucks moving around, so give large equipment plenty of space. Weekends and spring cleanup times often have lines, so there can be a bit of waiting.
