Saturday Drop is the neighborhood spot in Olympia where locals bring their household refuse and garden clippings. It’s used mostly by residents doing weekend cleanups or people finishing a small home project. The site sits on 10th Ave SE and looks like a typical community drop-off rather than a big industrial complex.
Drive up and you’ll see an entrance booth and an open lot with a few large containers and piles beyond it. There’s a scale near the entrance area, so plan for a short stop coming and going; many yards charge by weight. Recycling bins and piles of yard material are set off to one side, and the ground is mostly gravel with some paved lanes for trucks. Lines build up on busy days, so expect some waiting if several vehicles are ahead.
