Transfer Station

Republic Services Dump & Transfer Station

21309 66th Ave W, Lynnwood, WA 98036

(425) 778-0188

Small transfer station in Brunswick used by homeowners and small haulers who don't want to drive out to a distant landfill. Trucks drop loads here so the material can be compacted and shipped off-site; it's more of a working lot than a tidy civic center.

Pull into the driveway off Young Lane and look for an entry booth and a scale area where vehicles may be weighed. After the booth there’s a large concrete tipping floor and open bays or containers where loads are emptied, with big trucks and compactors moving material around. Lines form on weekends and during spring cleanup, so expect some waiting and traffic flow through the site. The setting is industrial - dusty in dry weather, muddy when it rains, and noisy from loader buckets and diesel engines.

Before You Go

  • Cover and tie down loose material before leaving home so nothing blows out while driving and so tipping goes faster.
  • Wear sturdy shoes and gloves and be ready for trucks and loaders; stay clear of moving equipment and follow any on-site directions.
  • Avoid weekend peak times if possible; midweek or early morning visits usually move faster.
