Bainbridge Island Disposal

7215 NE Vincent Rd, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110

(206) 842-0962

Bainbridge Island Disposal is the island’s local disposal site on NE Vincent Road, used by residents and small contractors dropping off household and garden material. It’s the place people drive to when the weekly pickup won’t take something or when clearing out a project.

There’s usually a booth or check-in point at the entrance where drivers pause before proceeding onto the site. Many disposal sites in Washington operate by weight or require sorting, so expect areas for dropping off different loads and a possible stop at a scale before leaving. The layout is open with piles or containers visible from the drive - trucks and pickups maneuver around, so take it slow. Weekends and spring cleanup times tend to be the busiest, so lines and some slow-moving traffic are common.

Before You Go

  • Separate yard debris and recyclables ahead of time; Washington facilities often expect these kept apart.
  • Bring a tarp or straps for loose material - wind can be an issue while unloading in open areas.
  • Load trucks to make unloading quick: think about which items go where so there’s no back-and-forth between piles.
