(540) 376-6965Small but busy county landfill just off Bullock Drive in King George, used by neighbors, landscapers and commercial haulers alike. Expect big trucks and visible cell mounds on the horizon; it’s the final place where garbage gets buried. Locals drop by for household cleanouts and contractors bring trailer loads.
There’s an entrance booth and a scale – vehicles usually stop to weigh in and then again on the way out since tipping fees are charged by weight. Drive up to the drop-off area and follow attendants’ directions about where to unload; the active face and cover areas are easy to spot because of the equipment and compacted dirt. The site looks industrial: piles of compacted material, heavy equipment moving around, and a mix of residential cars and commercial trucks in line. Weekends and spring cleanups get crowded, so lines at the booth and on the access road are common.
