Trucks, trailers and folks with packed pickup beds all show up here; it’s the place where trash gets buried and stays buried.
There’s a weigh station/scale and a small entrance booth to stop at-expect to pull onto the scale and then head in to unload. The site itself is wide open with compacted dirt roads and piles of cover soil and refuse; directions for where to tip are given at the gate. Tipping fees are charged by weight at places like this and there’s usually a residential minimum; larger commercial loads are commonly accepted at landfills of this scale.
