(703) 771-5500A county solid waste drop-off on Evergreen Mills Road used by Leesburg residents and nearby towns. Locals swing by with everything from bagged household trash to yard debris and recycling. It’s the kind of place people go when spring cleanup or a basement clear-out fills the pickup.
There’s an entrance booth and a scale to drive over, so expect to stop twice - in and out - and be charged by weight. Vehicles pull up to the booth first, then are directed to different areas for recycling, yard waste, or general trash; the recycling area and larger piles are off to one side. The site is built for volume, so large trucks and trailers are common and lanes can be wide but a bit dirty. Weekends, especially during warm months, tend to have longer lines and more traffic than weekday mornings.
