Lee Hill Waste Center is the local spot in Fredericksburg for dropping off household and cleanup trash. Neighbors use it for yard waste and bulky items when regular pickup won’t do, so expect familiar, practical activity rather than anything fancy.
There’s an entrance booth and a scale as part of the drive-in flow; they charge by weight, so there’s usually a stop on the way out as well. Pull up to the booth lane, get waved through, then follow the lanes past the main drop-off islands where different piles and containers are visible. The site is visibly industrial - concrete pads, roll-off containers and piles of material - not landscaped or polished. Weekends, especially during spring cleanups, tend to get backed up and move slowly.
