(540) 658-5279Belman Road Convenience & Recycling Center is the local recycling drop-off for Fredericksburg residents looking to keep stuff out of the landfill. Neighbors haul everything from cardboard and mixed paper to bottles, cans and larger items during seasonal cleanups. It’s the kind of place people use when there’s a trunk full of recyclables or a pile of yard debris to get rid of.
Drive up to an entrance where there’s usually a small booth and traffic moving through in lanes; larger vehicles have room to maneuver but take it slow. You'll likely pass a scale as part of the entrance/exit flow, so expect to stop twice if weight is measured. Recycling bins and drop-off areas are grouped together past the booth, with bulky or special-item areas separated a bit further in. Weekends, especially during spring cleanup, get crowded and there can be lines of cars waiting to pull in.
