(540) 965-1626A modest county transfer station on Valley Ridge Road used by locals hauling household trash and cleanup loads. Neighbors bring trailers, pickup loads, or bags here because the actual landfill is farther away and the station makes the trip shorter.
There’s a small entrance area with a booth and lanes for different vehicles; pull up to the booth and an attendant will direct where to go. Large roll-off containers and compactors sit beyond the scale and you’ll be guided to the proper drop-off point for bulk items or general trash. Expect trucks and other haul vehicles moving around-watch for backing equipment and follow the posted traffic flow.
