Tekoi Landfill is the county landfill out on Skull Valley Road in Dugway, the place local residents and haulers bring trash to be buried. It’s a working site rather than anything pretty - used for bulk junk and household garbage. As a landfill, fees are typically charged as tipping fees (either by weight or per load) and many landfills accept commercial loads, though exact fees and rules vary by location.
Expect a wide gravel approach and a few places to pull up and wait; most landfills have an entrance booth and a scale, so plan for at least one stop to be weighed. The site will look like a big open dirt field with heavy equipment moving around and piles of compacted material; watch for trucks and tractors. Loads are usually driven to the active dumping face, so have things sorted and ready to unload to move through quicker. Weekends and spring cleanup times tend to be busiest, so lines can form.
