(801) 924-8540Republic Services Wasatch Regional Landfill is the big burying spot out past Skull Valley that handles household and commercial trash for this part of Tooele County. Locals, haulers and contractors use it - it’s the kind of place you go when curbside or transfer stations won’t take a load. The site is large and set in a dry, dusty landscape, so expect wide open views instead of trees.
There’s an entrance booth and a scale where trucks stop to be weighed - tipping fees are charged by weight, with the usual residential minimums and separate commercial rate structure. Pull up to the booth first, they’ll direct you where to dump and then you’ll drive over the scale again on the way out for the final weigh ticket. The working area is mostly exposed cell faces and compacted mounds; dust can be an issue on windy days because of the arid climate. Weekends and spring cleanup times often mean lines, so plan for a bit of waiting if it’s busy.
