(801) 225-8538Small county-style solid waste site on the west side of Lindon that people from town and nearby areas use for household trash, recycling, and yard clippings. The place looks like a working yard rather than a polished transfer station. Expect regular car and pickup traffic, especially from residents hauling home cleanup loads.
Drive up to an entrance where there's a booth and a lane to pull into; someone will usually direct traffic or a sign will indicate the flow. A scale is often part of the entry/exit path, so vehicles stop briefly before heading to drop-off piles or bins. The site is open, dusty in the dry Utah air, with rows of containers, piles for different materials, and heavy equipment moving around. Weekends and spring curbside-cleanup times can get backed up, so there can be lines of pickups waiting to get in.
