Pull in past an entrance booth and you’ll drive over a scale so loads can be weighed; tipping fees are charged based on weight and commercial loads are handled with commercial rates. The site is open-air with compacted dirt roads and exposed cells, so it can get dusty in the Utah dry climate and windy days kick up grit. Recycling and drop-off containers are usually set off to the side of the main tipping area, and traffic can back up on weekends and during spring cleanup when more people show up.
