(435) 454-3430Duchesne/Wasatch Bluebench Landfill is the county landfill out on UT-87 that folks from town and surrounding ranches use when a dump run is needed. Trucks, trailers and pickup loads all show up here; it's the place where trash gets buried rather than recycled or processed.
A big scale sits near the entrance so expect to drive over it on the way in and again when you leave since tipping is charged by weight. There’s an entrance booth and a lane to pull up, then directions to the active cell and drop area; the site looks like layers of compacted dirt and cover with heavy equipment moving dirt around. Dust can be noticeable on dry, windy days, and weekends-especially during spring cleanup-tend to have the longest lines.
