There’s an entrance booth and a scale as part of the drive in, so be prepared to slow down and stop. The site is an open, working landfill with dirt roads and large piles of compacted material; things get dusty in Utah’s dry weather, so dusty clothes and a dirty truck are likely. Pull up to the tipping area when directed, unload, and then drive back over the scale on the way out. Lines form on busy Saturdays, and larger trucks take longer to get through.
