Read more →Lone Star Disposal, LP is a local disposal site in northeast Houston that residents and small haulers use for dropping off household and yard waste. Located on Tanner Road, it’s the kind of place people go when a regular pickup won’t cut it or there’s a bigger load to get rid of.
Drive up the lane and look for an entrance booth and a scale near the front - most folks stop there first to get directed. Pull a truck or trailer up close to the booth so staff can point out where to unload; the driveway is wide but larger trailers may need to maneuver. The yard is mostly open with piles or containers visible from the road, and recycling or drop-off bins are usually off to one side. Weekends and spring cleanup times tend to be busier, so expect short lines and some waiting during peak hours.
