(713) 466-6767Lone Star Disposal and Recycling Facility is a recycling center on the south side of Houston that people bring household and yard recyclables to. Neighbors and small haulers drop off things they don’t want in the regular trash. The place is plainly industrial - not a retail center - and used for diverting common recyclables from the landfill.
Pull off S Sam Houston Pkwy W to the facility address; there’s an entrance area leading into a concrete lot with large containers and covered sorting bays. The recycling bins and roll-offs are grouped together, while bulk drop-off spots sit a little further in; traffic can back up on weekends and during seasonal cleanups. Expect to sort materials by type as you move through the site, and to pull up close to the appropriate container for unloading.
