There’s an entrance booth and a scale; many county sites charge by weight, so expect to stop at the scale on the way out. Pull up to the booth/scale area and then follow the lanes to the drop-off piles or bins, with trailers often backing in. The surface is typically gravel or packed dirt and can get slick after rain. Weekends, especially during spring cleanup, tend to be the busiest times and lines can form.
