(936) 294-5712HunTransfer Stationville Solid Waste Disposal is the transfer station on the north side of Huntsville off I-45, used by residents and small haulers who don’t want to drive out to a distant landfill. People bring household loads, bulky items, and small contractor debris for compacting and onward transport.
The driveway leads past a small entrance booth where vehicles pause before being directed toward the tipping floor. Expect a scale somewhere near the entrance or exit since transfer stations commonly charge by weight, so there’s usually a second stop after unloading. The site looks industrial - concrete bays, large compactors and transfer trailers - and recycling or drop-off containers are generally set off to one side. Lines can build up on weekends and during spring cleanup, so there may be a bit of wait time.
