Cefe Valenzuela Landfill

Cefe Valenzuela Landfill, 2397 County Road 20, Robstown, 78380, Texas

Cefe Valenzuela Landfill on County Road 20 is the spot outside Robstown where the town’s bigger loads of trash get buried for good. Locals, contractors and roll-off drivers use it when curbside pickup or a small convenience center won’t do.

Drive in to a fairly open, industrial-feeling site with dirt roads, mounded cells and heavy equipment working the tips. There’s a scale and an entrance area where vehicles stop to be weighed - tipping fees are generally based on weight, so expect a weigh-in. After weighing, vehicles head to the active tipping area or pit to unload; loose stuff can scatter if not covered. Lines can form on weekends and during spring cleanup, so plan accordingly.

Before You Go

  • Cover and tie down loose loads - wind and passing trucks will spread debris if not secured.
  • Try to go midweek or first thing in the morning to avoid backups; weekends and spring cleanup days get the longest lines.
  • Separate recyclable or reusable materials beforehand and consider nearby county convenience centers for those items to save time at the landfill.
