There’s a scale house near the entrance where vehicles stop to be weighed - tipping fees are assessed either by weight or by a minimum flat charge depending on the load and permit type. After the booth, traffic is directed toward active cells or unloading areas; commercial trucks and roll-offs are commonly present alongside pickup trucks and trailers. Weekend and spring-cleanup traffic can back up at the entrance, so expect a short wait at busier times.
