Thompson's Station Convenience Center

A small convenience center used by Thompson's Station residents for household drop-offs. It’s the kind of place locals swing by with a truck or trailer rather than hauling to a big landfill, and it usually handles typical residential stuff like trash, recyclables and yard waste.

The site is compact - think a few large roll-off containers and a drive-up lane rather than a big transfer-yard. There’s often a booth or small office near the entrance and the recycling containers tend to be grouped together off to one side. Pull up, drop off what fits in the appropriate container, then pull forward to exit; on busy days vehicles line up into the road. Weekends and spring cleanups bring the longest lines, so plan for a short wait if it’s a Saturday morning.
