(731) 885-1941A regional landfill on the edge of Union City used by homeowners, landscapers, and haulers who need a final disposal option. It’s a larger, commercial-style site run by Republic Services where trucks and small trailers both show up depending on the load. The place is for burying household and commercial trash - the end point, not a drop-off for recycling or transfer.
A drive-in entrance with a scale booth is visible from the road; vehicles stop at the scale and then head toward the tipping areas. The site is big - long drive aisles, compacted landfill cells in the distance, and gravel surfaces in parts where heavy trucks maneuver. Tipping fees are handled by weight at the scale, and loads are directed to active tips by onsite signage or traffic flow. Expect commercial roll-offs and dump trucks mixed with smaller pickups on busier days, and a straightforward in/out pattern once the scale is cleared.
