(731) 424-6404Republic Services Jackson Madison County Landfill is the big burial site out past Aaron Long Road where household and commercial trash gets dumped and covered. Locals, landscapers, and haulers all use it when other drop-off spots are full or for large loads. It’s the place trash ends up when it’s ready to be buried rather than recycled or transferred.
Expect to drive up to a guarded entrance booth and likely be directed to a scale; tipping fees are charged by weight so most vehicles will stop twice - in and out. The property is large with long drive lanes to the active cell and visible landfill slopes; trucks and trailers are common, so watch for big rigs. Pull up to the tipping area when waved through, unload where instructed, and then head back to the scale to settle the weight-based fee. Weekends and spring cleanup times get busy, so there can be lines and some waiting around.
