(423) 496-1248A small county-run convenience center just off Grassy Creek Road in Copperhill, used mostly by local residents dropping off household trash, recyclables and yard debris. It’s the kind of place people swing by with a pickup load or bags from a weekend cleanup. Mostly set up for quick drop-offs rather than long stays.
There’s a paved drive-in area with a few large roll-off containers and smaller recycling bins visible from the entrance; trucks and pickups pull in, drop materials and leave. Look for a low booth or kiosk near the entrance where traffic is directed - that’s where people queue up before heading to the containers. The site feels compact, so maneuvering a trailer takes a little care and bigger loads can block the lane if not positioned right. Weekends, particularly in spring, often have a line of vehicles, while weekdays usually move faster.
