Paris-Henry County Landfill sits off Jones Bend Road in Paris. Local homeowners and commercial haulers take trash here to be buried; it’s a full-scale county landfill rather than a small drop-off site.
There’s a small scale house/booth by the entrance and vehicles are weighed, so expect to stop at the scale and have tipping fees calculated by weight. After weighing, vehicles move out to the active dumping area to unload while bulldozers and other heavy equipment work the site. The layout is wide open-dusty in dry weather and muddy after rain-so give trucks plenty of room to maneuver.
