(731) 664-5015Madison County Solid Waste Center on Pipkin Road Overpass in Jackson is the county drop-off for general household trash, yard debris and some recycling. Locals swing by with everything from small bags to pickup loads when clearing out a closet or yard. It's a practical, no-frills place - not a retail spot, just somewhere to unload what the curbside pickup won't take.
Pull up the drive and there’s an entrance booth near the road; plan to stop there before heading into the main lot. A scale is usually part of the flow, so expect to halt again on the way out. Recycling bins tend to sit off to one side just past the booth, with larger open areas or containers deeper in for bulk drop-off. The site looks industrial - open pavement and piles or containers - so bring gloves and a tarp for loose material.
