(731) 424-7522Madison County Solid Waste Center in Jackson is the county solid waste facility where local residents drop off household trash, yard debris and recyclables. Regular folks from around town use it when a pickup won’t do or for bulk loads that won’t fit at the curb.
Drive in on Smith Ln and follow the access road to the main compound; there’s a small entrance area with a booth and a scale that vehicles pass by. Pull up, check in at the booth, then follow signs or staff direction to the appropriate drop-off pad or roll‑off container. The site is mostly paved concrete with large open bays and stacked containers, and recycling bins are usually grouped off to one side. Weekends, especially during spring cleanup, tend to be the busiest times so expect a lineup and some waiting.
