Hardin County Solid Waste Convenience Center in Counce is the local county-run drop-off for household trash, yard debris, and the usual recycling options that county centers handle. Neighbors and small-haul folks use it for cleanups, yard work, and getting rid of items that don’t fit curbside pickup.
The site sits just off TN-142 and looks like a typical county convenience center with drive-up lanes and large collection containers. There is often a control point near the entrance where vehicles pause briefly before heading to the appropriate container or pile. Trucks and trailers are common, so expect to pull into a lane and unload by hand or with a tailgate; larger items may be set to the side for separate drop-off.
