(731) 925-6948Hardin County Solid Waste Convenience Center in Savannah is the local spot for household trash, recycling, and yard debris that residents usually use for drop-offs. Neighbors, small landscapers, and anyone clearing out a truckload tend to come here rather than hauling stuff to a distant landfill.
Drive in off Harlem Street and there’s a small attendant booth near the entrance where people stop briefly before pulling through. The site is open-air with large roll-off containers and bins set out for different materials; recycling containers are often grouped to one side and bulk/yard piles sit further back. Expect to back up to a container or walk a short distance to a bin depending on what’s being dropped off. Weekends and spring cleanups can get busy, so there may be a line to get in.
