Small, no-frills convenience center off Newport Highway that locals use for household drop-offs - trash, recyclables and yard debris are the usual stuff people bring. It’s the kind of place neighbors swing by with pickups or trailers rather than making a long run to a landfill.
Pull in from Newport Hwy and look for a short drive with an entrance booth; it may be staffed at times and fees are commonly collected there, sometimes by weight or per load. The site is smaller than a full transfer station, with a handful of large containers lined up for different materials and room to pull up beside them. Be prepared to sort things at the vehicle since bins are separated for trash, recycling and yard waste. Weekends, especially during spring cleanup, tend to get backed up so expect a line at peak times.
