(931) 723-0916Coffee County Rural Solid Waste in Manchester is the county-run solid waste facility on Hillsboro Highway that locals use for household trash, yard debris, and some recycling. People from the surrounding area drop off everything from bagged trash to brush, and it’s the kind of place driven to rather than delivered to by carriers.
The site sits off 2922 Hillsboro Hwy with a small entrance booth where vehicles pause before pulling in. Pull up slowly - larger trucks and trailers line up, and there’s usually a couple of roll-off bins and a pile area visible from the entry lane. Recycling containers tend to be grouped to one side while brush and bulk piles are separate and more open; expect to walk your load a short distance or back a trailer in depending on what’s being dropped. Weekends get noticeably busier, especially during spring yard cleanup, so wait times can stretch out.
