(931) 858-3271Local drop-off for Baxter and surrounding residents to get rid of household trash and bulky items. Operated as a community waste center, it sees a mix of pickups, trailers and cars bringing loads. The site is used mostly by people hauling stuff from home or small yard projects.
A small entrance booth and gate are visible from the road; pull up to the booth first and wait for direction before driving onto the site. There’s a compact paved area with a few dumpsters and larger roll-off containers, plus open space for vehicles to maneuver and unload. Bring something to cover and tie down loose loads - wind can scatter things if not secured. Busy times are common on weekends and during spring cleanup, so expect a line and some waiting.

- Have proof of local residency handy - many county centers check IDs before admitting vehicles.
- Load items so they’re easy to lift or slide out; staff won’t unload for you and bringing a helper or gloves speeds the process.
