Small county solid waste site used by Pickens County residents and local landscapers. Located just off Old Liberty Road in Liberty, it’s the kind of place neighbors stop by for everyday trash, recycling, and yard debris. Expect a working, utilitarian setup rather than anything fancy.

Drive in from Old Liberty Road toward a signage-marked drive and an entrance booth where vehicles pause before heading onto the property. There’s usually a scale and return stop, so trucks and trailers will pull through and then back up to drop loads into open containers or piles. Recycling bins and yard waste areas are typically grouped to one side, with household trash areas toward larger collection pits or containers. Weekends and spring cleanup times tend to be noticeably busier, with lines of pickups and trailers waiting to get through.
