(843) 918-2160Myrtle Beach Solid Waste Sta is the local spot people use for household trash, yard debris and the usual curbside overflow. Neighbors dropping off trailers or carloads swing by when regular pickup won’t cut it. It sits on 10th Avenue Extension north of town and looks like a typical coastal transfer station.
Drive up to a small entrance booth and be prepared to stop briefly at a scale; most solid waste facilities in the area charge by weight so there’s usually a weigh-in and weigh-out. The site is fairly open with large roll-off bins and piles of yard waste-recycling containers tend to be grouped together off to one side. Lines form fast on weekend mornings, especially in spring and after storms, so peak times can be slow. Bring things covered and secured on a trailer; wind off the marsh can kick up here.
