Small county-run recycling center out on River Fork Road that locals from Waterloo and nearby towns use when they want to keep recyclables out of the landfill. The site mostly handles household recyclables and is the kind of place a pickup or car with a trailer can easily pull into and unload.
Drive up the lane and there's a small entrance booth and a scale - it's not a big industrial plant, more like a tidy county lot with big roll-off bins. Cardboard, mixed paper, bottles and jars, common plastics and scrap metal are the usual items accepted at places like this, and sometimes there are seasonal or special collection events for things that don't fit in the regular bins. Pull up slowly, someone may direct where to dump or point to the specific bin; the recycling containers are grouped in a row and easy to spot from the driveway. Weekends can get busy, so plan for a short wait if arriving mid-morning.
