(843) 679-5658Florence County Recycle Center is the county recycling site on E Old Marion Hwy that locals use to drop off recyclables and bulk items. Neighbors with single-car loads and small trailers both head here to keep materials out of the landfill. The center is geared toward household recycling rather than commercial disposal.
There’s a simple entrance with a small booth and a scale nearby, so vehicles usually slow down and staff direct traffic. Recycling bins and roll-off containers sit to the right past the booth, with separate spots for cardboard, glass, metals and mixed plastics. Expect a gravel or paved drive with room to pull up close to the containers for unloading; larger trailers can position beside the drop areas. Weekends and spring cleanup time tend to be busier, so lines can form during those periods.
