Ebenezer Recycling Center in West Union is the small county-style recycling spot people from nearby farms and neighborhoods use when cleaning out garages or hauling recyclables. Lots of locals swing by with bags of bottles, cardboard from deliveries, or old tin cans after yard work. It’s the kind of place visited for dropping off common recyclables and any special drop-off programs the center runs seasonally.
Drive up the gravel entrance and slow down at the little booth near the entrance-there’s usually someone at that first stop to check what’s being dropped off. Pulling forward leads to open bays and large roll-off containers; the recycling bins are typically off to one side just past the booth. Expect to cross a scale on the way in or out at similar county centers, and be prepared to unload by hand if bringing household bags or boxed cardboard. Weekends, especially in spring and after holidays, can get backed up so plan for a short wait.
