Anderson Regional Landfill is Belton’s municipal landfill where household and commercial trash gets buried. Locals, haulers, and commercial trucks use this place when disposal at smaller county convenience centers won’t cut it.
Drive in and a scale will be visible near the entrance; tipping fees at landfills are usually charged by weight so expect a stop coming and going. There’s typically an entrance booth or gate to check in before being directed to the active cell or unloading pad. The site itself is large and industrial-dirt cells, compacting equipment, and lines of roll-off trucks are common sights, and weekends or spring cleanups can get backed up. Commercial loads are generally accepted at landfills of this scale, but hauling vehicles will be handled differently than quick residential drop-offs.
