A small county convenience center in Belton where local residents drop off household trash, recyclables and yard debris. Mostly used by people hauling stuff from the house or yard, not for commercial loads. It sits along US-29 and looks like a basic drop-off lot rather than a full-scale landfill.
Drive up to a single entrance that leads into a paved lot with several large roll-off style containers lined up; the recycling containers are usually grouped together off to one side. There may be a simple entrance booth or sign at the front, and traffic can back up on weekends or during seasonal cleanups. Most people pull up, sort their load at the edge of the container they need, then drive out - bring something to help lift or toss heavier items. The site footprint is modest, so large trucks can be awkward to maneuver if it's busy.
