(866) 909-4458A working landfill just off W Sunbury Road used by locals and haulers who need a final place to dump. Runs on the larger side for this area, so both neighborhood pickups and bigger commercial trucks are a common sight.
Drive in past a small entrance booth and be ready to stop at a scale - tipping is handled by weight at places like this, so there's usually a weigh-in on the way in and again on the way out. The yard is open and dusty with large piles and compacted cells; trucks pull up to the active face to tip and then back away to be compacted. Recycling containers or separations are often off to one side near the entrance, and weekend traffic can build up, especially during yard-cleanup season. Watch for large equipment and follow flaggers or signs directing traffic around the working area.
