(800) 869-5566Small transfer station just off Rosencranse Road that local homeowners and folks cleaning out garages use when they don't want to drive to a big landfill. It’s a working yard where trucks compact loads and haul them out to a distant landfill. Most people dropping off typical household loads stop here rather than making the longer landfill run.
Drive up to a gate/booth area where vehicles are directed to pull forward; there’s usually a place to stop for weighing and paperwork before proceeding. The yard is utilitarian - concrete pads, bays, and a tall compactor or roll-off area where trucks take the material away. Lines form on weekends and during spring cleaning, so expect some waiting when it’s busy. Vehicles back up to drop-off points and attendants or operators move material into the compactor or containers for transport.
