Drive up to an entrance booth and be prepared to pull onto a scale - this place charges by weight, so there’s usually a second stop on the way out. The site is large, with rows of working faces and compacted cover; expect to see lots of roll-off trucks and tractor-trailers moving around. Traffic can back up at busy times, and there’s a clear flow from the scale to the tipping area and back out. Bring a tarp or tie-downs for loose loads, since wind can kick up dirt and debris on the hills.
