Pioneer Crossing Landfill on Redlane Road is the landfill outside Birdsboro that locals and haulers use when trash needs to be buried rather than picked up curbside. It’s a full-scale landfill with a scale house on site; tipping fees are charged by weight and the facility handles both residential and larger commercial loads.

Drive up to a booth/scale house and prepare to cross the scale - most drivers are weighed in and again on the way out. The working area is open with heavy equipment and large trucks moving material, so give big vehicles plenty of room. Expect dusty conditions in dry weather and mud after rain, with visible dirt piles and machinery throughout the site. Lines build up on weekends and during spring cleanup periods, so busy times mean waiting.
