Greenridge Reclamation Landfill in Scottdale is the local landfill where household and larger loads get buried. Contractors, haulers and residents bring big or bulky stuff here; expect a working site with heavy equipment and long dirt roads.
There’s a scale and an entrance booth, so tipping fees are charged by weight and stopping to be weighed is part of the process. Pull up to the booth, follow the driver directions for where to dump, then usually return to the scale on the way out. The site is large with exposed soil, compactors and open tipping areas rather than a neat transfer building. Weekends, especially during spring cleanup, can get backed up.
