Elizabethtown Landfill on W Ridge Rd is where local household trash and commercial loads end up when curbside won't do. Residents and haulers use it for bigger jobs or bulk cleanouts, so expect a mix of pickup trucks and roll-off trucks on site.
There's a scale and a small entrance booth at the drive; vehicles get weighed and fees are calculated by weight or per load. Pull up to the booth first, then you'll be directed to the active tipping area where large earthworks and compacted piles are visible. Heavy equipment is often working the cells and trucks back in to dump, while smaller vehicles get steered to a separate spot. Plan to stop at the scale again on the way out so the final weight can be recorded.
