Landfill

Waste Management - East Oak Landfill

3201 Mosley Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141

(866) 909-4458

A working landfill on the east side of Oklahoma City where residential and commercial trucks haul their trash to be buried. People from nearby neighborhoods, contractors, and haulers drop off everything from household junk to construction debris at this site.

There’s a gate and a small entrance booth to check in; expect to pull up slowly and follow staff directions. A large scale sits near the entrance-vehicles are weighed, so most people stop twice: in and out. The drop-off area is wide with heavy equipment moving dirt and compacting loads, and you’ll see long rows of cover dirt and landfill cells in various stages. Weekends and seasonal cleanups can get busy, and around storm cleanup times there are noticeably more commercial trucks and debris piles.

Before You Go

  • Tie tarps down and secure loose material before getting on Mosley Rd to keep things from blowing off during the drive.
  • Bring a clear plan for where materials will go in the truck so unloading is quicker once directed to a dumping spot.
  • Try to time visits for weekday mornings if possible; lines and wait times tend to be longer on weekend and seasonal cleanup days.
