(580) 772-7169Republic Services Weatherford Transfer Station is the local place where household and small commercial loads get dropped off, compacted, and then hauled out to a landfill. Neighbors bring truck beds, trailers, and pickup loads here rather than making the longer trip to a distant landfill.
Drive up to an entrance booth and be prepared to stop; most transfer stations have a scale so vehicles are weighed before and after dumping. The site is mostly concrete and big enough for several trucks, with a few bays or a tipping floor where items are emptied. Expect to pull forward to the tipping area, unload into the compactor or pit, then drive back over the scale on the way out. Weekends and storm-recovery periods get busier, so lines or short delays are common.
